With the holidays upon us,
the entertaining season has begun.
Weekends and evenings filled with parties and dinners..
out comes the china, silver and crystal.
These blossoms are for all of you well into spring on the other side of the world :)
So what will you be serving up those delectable eats on?
Are you a traditionalist?
A fashionista..these may bring out the diva in you :)
I have a feeling this will be a favourite!
Retro atomic to co-ordinate with your vintage fiestaware?
Love baubles? Even your china can "charm"..
Monique Lhuillier Charms
Nature loving, in a soothing analogous colorway..
Trendy and bubbly..
A Romantic..
Royal Albert Polka Dot Rose
Contemporary..
Revel in the classics? Mahogany, crystal and these make for a tasteful table.
Minimalist.. where china becomes sculpture
Denby Derby
A little boho..mix and match Bopla patterns and colours..
this was the china I registered for as a bride.
We ended up eloping, which is entirely another story,
so we didn't recieve much,
but I do have a wonderfully eclectic four person table setting :)
nostalgic, in soothing earth tones..
Fun-loving - deserving of a dinner with lively conversation and quick wit!
whimsical and light-hearted..
Sophisticated - isn't that green incredible?
Arcades Phillipe Deshoulieres
Artisan - one word - authentic.
A little bit country..
Fearless. How many people could carry this off?
Can't decide? Need versatility to be free to create a one-of a kind table?
Maybe you are a white china type..
So which one suits you the best?
Maybe a few?
I have Bopla, but I usually use my Mum's china for dinner,
because it reminds me of so many happy times.
I love how the muted color tones down the frilliness of this pattern and shape.
This was one of our three Thanksgiving tables this year,
over twenty family were at our home, it was wonderful.
Sorry about the horrible photo, snapped this quickly about two minutes before anyone arrived!
Happiest of Thanksgivings to all of you Stateside :)
til next time..
